The gig was extremely well recieved. Whilst I was over there my production team and I were busy finalising the videos for a further two songs lifted from the album: The Kinks song: 'You've Really Got Me' and Woolly Bully - by Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs. Featuring Rolling Stones son, Jesse Wood, playing lead guitar on both songs.
Both songs are produced by Charlie Skarbek. I've adored working with this producer (as I have mentioned before) he has produced a plethora of famous singers. Having worked with numorous well-known record producers in my time, in my opinion, Charlie is the sort of producer that brings out the best in a singer.
The videos for the two songs mentioned took a lot of time in sourcing the right style and material to compliment the songs, it was well worth the many hours that were put in.
Whilst I was in Dubai I made a point of going to watch a band called 'Off the Record', where they performed at the Dubai Ritz Carlton, I mention this because it was an amazing preformance by these two guys. The music and the harmonies were faultless. If you are heading out there, they are a must see duo - I had drinks with them afterwards and they informed me they have a residence every Friday at Brunch Time! Check them out - they were awesome.
